YOUR PRIVACY INSIDE MOVIEFRENS
MovieFrens is designed around temporary movie groups.
Your profile is only visible to members of your movie group while your group is active and for a limited time afterward.
After the post-movie period ends, your group chat and temporary group visibility expire.
LOCATION INFORMATION
MovieFrens uses location information to help connect you with nearby moviegoers and improve your experience.
Depending on how you use the app, we may use information such as your selected city, nearby theaters, or your device's location (if you grant permission). This helps us:
• Match you with moviegoers attending the same theater and showtime.
• Show relevant theaters and movie listings.
• Understand where MovieFrens is growing so we can improve matching and expand into new communities.
• Improve the overall MovieFrens experience.
Your location is never shared with other users.
Other MovieFrens users do not see your current location, address, or where you are. MovieFrens uses location information only to help create compatible movie groups and improve the service. Your privacy is important to us, and we do not use location information to allow users to track one another.
You can manage location permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may be limited if location access is turned off.
REPORTS & SAFETY
If another user reports behavior that may violate our Community Guidelines, we may review relevant information—including profile details, chat messages, and report submissions—to investigate the issue, enforce our Community Guidelines, and help keep the MovieFrens community safe.
PREMIUM FEATURES & PURCHASES
MovieFrens may offer optional in-app purchases, including premium themes and other cosmetic features that personalize your experience.
Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. MovieFrens does not collect or store your full payment card information.
Purchasing premium features does not improve matching, rankings, visibility, or provide an unfair advantage over other users.
